NEW(Non-gap Electron beam Welding) Crossing
Structure
Key Feature 1: Structure
The nose rail is created by arranging standard profile rails in a V-shape, with the head and base sections
welded together to form a single unit.
The base section of the wing rail is then welded to the nose rail, integrating the crossing.
As a result, NEW Crossing does not require rail bonding.
Key Feature 2: Welding Method
Welding is performed using an electron beam in a vacuum equipment (EBW). Therefore, no welding wire is used.
Key Feature 3: Heat Treatment
The integrated nose rail head undergoes heat treatment. This process ensures a uniform heat treatment structure due to the fusion of the base materials.
Key Feature 4: Standard Profile HH Rail is Used
The material allows for easy welding with the preceding and following rails, and by eliminating joints, it improves high-speed performance, reduces noise, and enhances ride comfort.
