Expansion Joints

They are used to absorb expansion and contraction of rails caused by temperature changes. In addition to the Pandrol-style expansion joints using Pandrol clips, there is also a type fastened with washers. The washer-fastened type can be used with PC sleepers as well as wooden sleepers.
