Patterned H-Beams
Rolled steel for the production of deck plate. We manufacture two types—YSB with a grid pattern on the surface and YDB with a circular dot pattern.
Note: The deck plate "Yamato Deck" that uses this product was registered in December 2013 in the New Technology Information System (NETIS) of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
This product, because of the raised dot pattern on its surface, has better drainage than previous products. The advantage of better drainage is that work can be performed without our product freezing when used for road construction in cold regions or in the mountains, or for bridge construction in winter.
Use of the circular dot pattern and weld bead control reduce noise when vehicles roll over it. Noise is also reduced by the use of cushioning that adjusts the degree of support depending on the load between the product and deck beams. The product can help to reduce noise when used for subway construction, etc.
The product is 7 – 10% lighter than previous products, and H-beams for primary members are made from recycled iron scrap, making them eco-friendly products.
